Method 1: Using iTunes
- First turn off iCloud Music Library, go to “Settings” → “Music” → toggle off “Sync Library” → “Turn Off”
- Then, launch iTunes on your computer. If you don’t have iTunes installed, download it from the Apple website and install it on your computer.
- Connect your iPhone to your computer using the USB cable that came with your device.
- In iTunes drag and drop music from your library into your iPhone!
- Confirm the music was synced into your phone by clicking on music in under your iPhone menu
- ALTERNTIVLY: click on the “Device” icon that appears at the top left corner of the iTunes window.
- Click on “Music” in the left sidebar.
- Click on “Sync Music” and select the option to “Entire music library” or “Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres.”
- If you choose “Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres,” you can select specific MP3 files to add to your iPhone. To do this, click on the “+” icon at the bottom of the iTunes window and choose the MP3 files you want to add.
- Click “Apply” to start the sync process. Once the sync is complete, the MP3 files will be added to your iPhone’s Music app.
Method 2: Using iCloud
- Open the iCloud website on your computer and sign in using your Apple ID.
- Click on “Music” in the iCloud menu.
- Drag and drop the MP3 files you want to add into the iCloud Music Library.
- On your iPhone, go to “Settings” > “Music” and turn on “iCloud Music Library.”
- Wait for your iPhone to sync with iCloud. Once the sync is complete, the MP3 files will be added to your iPhone’s Music app.
Method 3: Using Third-Party Apps
- Download a third-party app that allows you to transfer MP3 files to your iPhone, such as Documents by Readdle or iMazing.
- Connect your iPhone to your computer using the USB cable that came with your device.
- Open the third-party app on your computer and select “iPhone” as the destination device.
- Drag and drop the MP3 files you want to add into the app’s file transfer window.
- Wait for the transfer to complete. Once the transfer is complete, the MP3 files will be available within the third-party app on your iPhone.
- Open the third-party app on your iPhone and select the MP3 files you want to add to your iPhone’s Music app.
- Use the app’s transfer function to move the MP3 files from the app to your iPhone’s Music app.
