Using the HZP Web Player is easy! This article breaks down how to use the HZP Web Player’s available features.
Selecting Your Music: Top Toolbar Guide
Within the top of your screen, you’ll see there are several ways to browse music.
If you wish to casually browse, you can browse via Artists, Songs, or Playlists. You can also filter songs by genre and sort them by title or duration.
If you have a specific song, artist, or playlist in mind you want to listen to, you can use the search function in the top right corner of the screen to perform a search.
Browse by Artist | By clicking on Artist, you’ll be able to browse songs by artist. These will initially appear in alphabetical order. Clicking on an artist will open up their available music catalog and you’ll be able to browse and listen to their songs. |
Browse by Songs | By clicking on Songs, you’ll be able to browse songs by title. You’ll have the option to sort songs by title and duration. Clicking on a song will cause it to play automatically. Songs that are streamed through the app are provided by Audius – a blockchain-backed music streaming service that has been integrated into dozens of players. Browse by Playlist | By clicking on Playlist, you’ll be able to browse various playlists, including playlists you’ve created. Note that if you’ve created a playlist in HZP, this will be the first playlist to appear. If you want to learn how to create a playlist, you can consult the article here. |
Filter Songs by Genre | Clicking the Filter button will cause a menu to open up that lists a variety of song genres. Selecting a genre will filter the songs and thus only show songs that fit within the selected genre. |
Sorting Songs | Clicking the Arrow button in the Top Toolbar will cause a menu to open up that allows you to sort songs by title or duration. You’ll be able to sort by Song Title (ascending or descending) or Song Duration (ascending or descending). |
Search Multiple Categories | You have the ability to search by Artist, Songs, and Playlist all at once. Simply click the magnifying glass icon found in the top right corner of the screen. This will open up a search box. Search by your desired keyword/s and hit Enter and browse your results. |
Change Frequency | You can access the Solfeggio Frequency Menu by clicking on the current frequency at the top of the screen (shown as a number follwed by Hz). Once the menu opens, simply click the frequency you’d like to switch to, and the song will adjust automatically. |
Controlling Your Music: Bottom Toolbar Guide
You’ll easily be able to rewind, play, and fast-forward your music by clicking the corresponding buttons in the bottom toolbar. You also have options to change your frequency, adjust playback options, and open the visualizer tool.
Here’s a guide to buttons within this section of the tool.
Skip Backwards | Clicking the Skip Backwards button will skip backwards a song in the current playlist. You can click this button multiple times to go back several songs. | |
Play | Clicking the Play button will play the music that is currently paused. This button will be replaced by the Pause button if music is currently playing. | |
Pause | Clicking the Pause button will pause the music that is currently playing. This button will be replaced by the Play button if the music is paused. | |
Skip Forwards | Clicking the Skip Forwards button will skip forward a song in the current playlist. You can click this button multiple times to go forward several songs. | |
Change Frequency | Clicking this button will open a menu that will allow you to adjust the frequency of the music you’re listening to. Once the menu opens, simply click the frequency you’d like to switch to, and the song will adjust automatically. | |
Playback Settings | Clicking this button will open a menu that will allow you to adjust the order and settings of the playlist you’re listening to. You’ll be able to choose from the following: Normal Playback: Selecting this will make it so the songs within the playlist play in the order they are in. Shuffle All: Selecting this will make it so the songs in the playlist are played in random order. Repeat Once: Selecting this will make it so the songs will repeat once. So once the playlist is done, the music will stop playing. Repeat All: Selecting this will make it so the songs will be played on repeat. So even if all songs on the playlist are played one time, the playlist will repeat them. | |
Visualizer Tool | This will open the Visualizer Tool. By clicking this, you will no longer see your playlists or songs, but instead, see visualizations brought to you by SYQEL. You’ll be able to adjust how long each visual is on screen by adjusting the time within the Visualizer Duration setting in the sidebar. Clicking on the Visualizer screen will close the Visualizer. Note that you may have limited visualizations or watermarks on the visuals if you are not subscribed to the HZP Amplify Plan. Copy/Share URL | Clicking this button will automatically copy the URL of the song, including the frequency it is playing at. This makes it easy for you to share out specific songs at certain frequencies. When shared, the receiver of the URL can listen to the shared song and adjust the frequencies as they’d like, even if they don’t have an HZP account. | |
Like | Clicking the Like button will automatically add the current song to your My Favorites playlist. You’ll be able to see this playlist in the Playlist section. If you click the button again, it will remove the current song from the playlist. | |
Add to Playlist | Clicking this button opens a menu that allows you to easily add the song you’re listening to a playlist. You can learn to create a playlist by consulting this article, and you can learn how to add songs to a playlist by consulting this article. |
Settings to Enhance Your Experience: Side Navigation Bar Guide
There are several options you can implement in order to better your experience using the HZP player.
These options can be located in the side navigation bar, which can be accessed by clicking on the user icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen. You’ll have the option to customize your experiences with the following features:
Light Mode, Dark Mode, and UI Customization
Not only do you have the ability to change from light mode to dark mode within HZP’s visual customization menu, you can also choose which specific colors you would like the UI to be.
Visualizer Duration
You’ll be able to determine how many seconds each visualizer will appear on the screen when you enter Visualizer Mode. Note that you will not be able to input a time of less than 3 seconds. If you attempt to, it will default to 3 seconds regardless.
To enter Visualizer Mode, simply click the button that looks like a flame, the Visualizer button near the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
